Today I wasted 45 minutes on hold with a domain registrar that needed to verbally verify my credit card before they would activate a blog domain name that I registered. Talk about being mad. You can not believe how upset I was by the time the sales representative got on the phone. He wanted to know the last 4 digits on my credit card. I bit my tongue, crossed my toes and gave him the information he requested. In my current mind set, I will not use their service again. Normally, I am calm and do not let things get under my skin. Just one of those days I guess! It will probably take me an hour or so to calm down. In the meantime, I will use my time in a very unproductive manner and do some generalized searching on the Internet. I try to have a purpose in mind when I search for information. That is not the case right now. In my random searches, I ran across a site on 301 and believe it or not found some interesting stuff in it. I drilled down into the 301 site a little bit and discovered some cool tidbits that struck my appetite for more information. I wasted another 10 minutes or so before I pulled the plug on the search. What the heck! Now Im just running off at the mouth while my temper subsides. Time to turn this laptop off and go watch some TV that is filled with mindless advertisements. Tomorrow has got to be a better day!
