In fact, the strangest thing is that one song can summons up events about two different people at the same time and two completely different feelings about those two people. The mind is seriously powerful thing how it can summons up those days of the past and make them feel as real as they happened yesterday. And it is sort of what happened the other night when I was search for some general item on the internet. While going the search, the fact of doing a search itself conjured up the memory of a search about 301 which I forgot to do like 2 months ago. Yet, my brain somehow put 2 plus 2 together and finally figured it out that I needed to search on that item. And now I am starting to thing of the same song that made me conjure up thinking of two different people. I got nostalgia running through my head here.

July 31, 2008 on 2:32 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffDon’t ever make a decision when you don’t feel right about it. You’ll end up regretting it later, too. It happens to me all the time. When I make a decision and don’t feel good about it. Instead of backing out, I give in.

But even better yet… right after my friend got back from being online searching for 301, he picks up the phone, calls me and proceeds to speak with my wife instead and tells her that he just came back from an appointment with a marriage counselor. He told my wife that what the counselor said are exactly the reasons I’ve been saying for him to leave her. My wife even verified to without me saying a thing. My wife reports that, in his voice, he is now finally opening his eyes since he came back from the therapist, my wife says. So go figure. Maybe he does not really need a friend to seek advise and confide in, rather, he needs a really good therapist.
