August 20, 2008 on 5:42 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffI was out surfing for some information on a subject related to the US government and found myself starting to drift off into another thought. I remember just reading about how all the major search engines were working along side the Chinese government to censor what its internet users could view. It is something I just have taken for granted here in the USA; you can open any web browser and find information on any subject, if you were searching for 301 you would find thousand if not millions of results. What is more interesting is yes you might find some disinformation in those results or even views that some would view as radical thinking. But what I love about free speech is I can say and view anything I want, it is up to me to make my own conclusions. Like in other civilizations throughout history if you repress a people long enough then at some time they will fight back and sometimes even revolt.

August 19, 2008 on 9:30 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffIt’s very frustrating when you purchase something and it doesn’t come with good instructions. Then you pretty much have to use trial and error to get it to work. Sometimes you have to spend a lot of time contacting support (if the company has good support), and then they tell you what you should have done … which wasn’t in the instructions … but should have been. Sometimes you keep getting the same errors over and over, and no one can tell you why or help you fix them. You can waste literally days and weeks on these sorts of problems. When it gets too frustrating, then I know that’s when I need to shift gears completely forget about whatever is not working, and turn my attention to something else … anything else … even 301 or whatever gets my interest and takes my mind off being frustrated.

August 19, 2008 on 8:36 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffThe computers put out by companies nowadays are just getting more and more sophisticated. I just can’t keep up with it all the time. Whose got the money to afford buying a computer every single year when there is other things to spend money on like 301 . Maybe this one computer I have now will last as least 2-3 years, maybe more. The thing is, will this technology every stop continuing? I guess not. Oh well.
